Submit for Kap-sule 3 "BLOOD" theme & Win Some Prizes!!

Hi guys!

Hopefully you have download the 2nd issue of Kap-sule. Anyway, I would like to apologize for the delay, last month was a busy month for me and I couldn’t find the time and space to finish Kap-sule Two. But thanks to all moderators who gave their support and cooperation in this publication. I would like to say a mega thanks to Uculer, the ex-Admin of the English Section for her huge role in this 2nd issue of Kap-sule. With her continous motivation and help, I was able to finished this edition.

The next issue of Kap-sule will be based on a theme. The theme selected is ‘BLOOD’.

The great news is that the best submission will be rewarded with some prizes. At the moment the prizes confirmed is :

1)      a Kap-sule one-piece only custom made t-shirt

2)      The Prasasti Interactive Booklet & CD

3)      Get the honor to choose the next Kap-sule theme

...there maybe be more prize to be announce, so don’t waste more time start submitting your stuff fast!

Below is some info on how this theme thing is going to be done :

Ok, let’s say, the theme selected for next issue is ‘X’. All you guys have to do is contribute to the English Section or the Artworks Section your poetry, short story, photos, artworks, designs based on that theme.

X could be anything that inspires you. It could be something based on your perspective or what it represents. For example :

-          It could be about your ex-(fill in the blank).

-          It could be an axe

-          It could be a cancellation

-          the number 10 (it is 10? I failed roman numerical)

-          cross-stitch (points to Uculer....hehe)

-          a crossing, cross path, cross section, denial, rejection etc

-          a vote

-          multiplication

-          ...so many things right?

Why a theme?

Basically we wanted you guys to get creative. It would be a new challenge for you. Sometimes we need direction and all the time we need a goal. The theme is the goal and the direction you have to squeeze your creative juice out.

Secondly, by this we way we hope it would increase more post contributions to both sections.

How can creative can you be?

You can team up or make it a group effort and collaborate to produce something. Say, somebody snap a photo (that follow the theme) and another person writes a poetry about it or a short story.

You can also write a poetry and maybe recite it, sing it or take up the guitar make it into a song, make a video, shout it, bark it out, ask your neighbour (anybody ok)  to read it and most importantly record it and post it together with the poetry. Inside this issue, you can see the example of Raihanchia’s poetry “Sonata of A Prey” sang by RamaRama and the music composed by Paktam85.

Hey I know you guys have more, you can make a comic, you can make a play (actors and actresses, this is your moment), you can paint something, make a sculpture etc.

But sometimes I know, most of us like to express and create something personal, so don’t worry, you don’t need to make a group, a band, a duo or anything. You can post by yourself  poetry, short stories, photo and artworks too. Or you could write it and sing it yourself too. Most importantly, get creative and contribute.

What you must do? How does the post be selected to be featured in Kap-sule?

Oh, I forgot to state that the closing date for the submission is 31st May 2010.
