Blakey Barks : Shupa...JUNIOR!

Yes. That is how the boys call themselves..."SHUPA JUNIOR" well, it does sounds cute but maybe I'm just biased. Anyway...

SUPER JUNIOR SUPERSHOW 3 WAS THE BOMB! I lost my voice afterwards...coughcough...

I went to KL last week on 18th. The concert was on 19th, Saturday. OMG...I felt like "Ah, this is my clique..." Anyway, let me retell you how it went.

I stayed with my ex-roommate while in UKM (my coursemate and bff) at her house in Taman Melati. The concert was going to be held in Bukit Jalil Indoor Stadium. We arrived there around 3.30pm after a few hours shopping in KLCC (beli kasut and baju hujan je). As expected, there was a little bit of rain but I was too hot and lazy to wear the raincoat we bought. Though, my friend did. We just followed the crowd and stood in a line. And we were not sure what was it for. Later we found out that it was for free banners. But many of the banners were already finished :(

We both found our line for Terrace seat L2. People who bought the Rock Pit tickets were just next to us and they looked drenched! Not sure from sweat or rain. They must've been queueing up since morning. It was getting hot even though it was really cloudy that afternoon. To make matters worst, the management banned all water bottles so we had to drink before entering the security check. My friend managed to buy few official goods. Wished I had more money on me that day...sigh...

My friend and I planned to sneak in our water bottles since we hid them in the most inner part of our backpacks, covered with my cardigan, a plastic filled with shoes and my rain coat. My friend went to the concert last year and she said the security won't be pulling out everything out so we won't be busted. But our anxiety rose when there was an elderly crew walked around shouting "NO WATER BOTTLES! THROW IT AWAY! LEAVE IT!" And he sounded so serious so we decided to abandoned our water bottles...huuu...

We got to our seats around 5.30 since the concert will start at 6pm. But before that, I went to the washroom because I didn't want to leave for a toilet break in the middle of the show. Hafiz and Alex from...not sure which radio station came to the stage to heat up the audience. Okay, I must admit even though I don't listen to the radio, they sounded pretty cool.

Anyway, as soon as they left the stage the lights dimmed and immediately, everyone started to turn on their blue LED sticks. I did the same (just go with the flow). By the way, blue if Suju's official colour...though I wasn't wearing any blue except for my jeans. Anyway...

Suddenly, someone in white appeared in the middle of the stadium (there was a stage in the middle of the stadium too) and slowly ascended from the floor and halted in mid-air. I immediately exclaimed "DONGHAE!!!" Everyone was screaming! I could feel my eardrums vibrating due to the high decibel of the female voices around me. Me? I was still cool and steady.

Then, the intro for Sorry, Sorry (remix) was on slowly, the members appeared in the middle on a spinning stage (?). Okay. Now I was out of my mind. I screamed on top of my lungs and coughed afterwards. LOL talk about lame. Everything after that was like a dream. They were 3 members who often went towards our sidel; Leeteuk, Siwon and Kyuhyun. Apparently, Kyuhyun had the largest fan in the concert. Everytime it was his part to sing, the crowd went berserk. For me, unfortunately my favourite member, Heechul didn't appear as much as I wished. So whenever he appeared, I went "HEEEEEEEECHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUL!!!" with Ozzy Osbourne-is voice. Yes, by the time the third song ended 75% of my voice was practically gone.

And despite what other people thought of a group who sings and dances, hey! They can really sing live! They sounded different from the cd but still, they can still sing even after bouncing here and there, spinning and breakdancing. Unlike some singers who starts to pant even though singing a ballad...yes, we have a list of those kinds of artist. My favourite part of the concert would be when Henry, a chinese member of Super Junior M started to sing his cover of Bieber's "Baby". He nailed it with steady singing and awesome dancing. We all sang along of course and he looked he enjoyed it too! And when Zhou Mi (another chinese member of SJ M too) sang Miss Cool Chic, I was like..."HOLY SHEEET! I GOT HIT BY 99999 DAMAGE" My Final Fantasy obsession was still there (FF gamers will know what I'm talking about). I thought the dancing was a bit...feminine for a guy and later I found out the song was originally sang by a female singer. No wonder. But he nailed it nonetheless.

Okay, by the fourth song ended, I felt like going to the washroom again. Well, try screaming on top of your lungs for half an hour and see what it does to your bladder. The concert ended early around 10pm something. There was no encoure unfortunately. I heard some of the members needed to fly back to Korea that night.

The amount of cost I used up to go to KL and buy the ticket. Flight costs about RM500, BTU-KL-BTU. Concert ticket RM486. A waste of money? I don't think so. Because this is once a year event and I don't even know if I will live long enough for next year's concert and even if I do live, not sure if I would have time/money to go. Anything can happen in a year. And it's more worth it than going to spa and saloon like few times a month which costs about the same with my flight cost. HAHA. Yes, totally worth it. I am happy I went despite people calling me crazy (my aunt did).

Will I go again next year if I have time and money? Definitely. This time i will buy the VIP tickets because VIP seats are closer to the stage!!!!!!! SHUPA JUNI...OR!!!!

Okay, Bloody Blakey signing out!
