Blakey Barks : Comic Fiesta 2011 & Update

Hey guys, long time no see. I was in an art/writer's block for quite some time and coming here would be like rubbing salt on my wound pfft. And so at last I've found my motivation, I'm here again and I'm going to share you my latest update.

I finally told my assistant to resign. This was back in June. I told her face to face that her attitude is not working for me, nor for the company. We are just wasting money paying here when all she does was...well, do only one job. She wasn't even doing the filing properly (she was supposed to categorize files under alphabet but instead she used up ALL DIVIDER by categorized the files under names. Did I mention there's like over 200 names?) I'm not even sure how she had 3 years experience before getting this job =_=; And also she came to the office after 9am (we start at 8am) and she left the office at 4.00-4.30pm (we finish work at 5pm)

Did I mention she never finish the work I told her to? NEVER. If she did finish it, you can't count it as finished when I kept telling NOT TO IT HER WAY but rather, the proper standardized way (see her filing job I mentioned earlier). Yet, she was proud of having 3 years working experience and would always brought that up when she found the job rather tedious. Meaning, she thought working experience is ALL IT TAKES to be better than someone. At one point, I got tired of her boast and I put the facts together for her. She proceed complaining about me to another clerk from another company whom we shared the office with. The clerk also fed up with her work attitude and informed me of the back stabbing. Meh, I'm used to back stabbing actually and I just smiled. If there's anyone, the clerk is much more in rage than me haha.

Okay, that's that and I'm working to finish whatever work she left behind (89% unfinished). And I'm content and happy she's not around anymore even if it means I'm working alone again.

Next is...COMIC FIESTA 2011~ Yes, I've submitted my booth registration and the event will be held on 17-18 December 2011, Saturday & Sunday at KLCC Hall 5! Please do come! I'll inform you again if everything's all settled up (details on my booth location etc) The official info for this event hasn't been released yet and yes, I'll update again about that.

Last year's event got me in a honeymoon mood for a full January 2011! It was as if I was being alive again. I'm not kidding. My town is a calm and quite conservative and you can expect how crazy I can get if I don't get out for at least once a year :P But I love my town still :)

So yea, I'm working hard on my comic (>///<) and some illustrations. I'd love to see at least one of you come since I never met anyone of you live. Please do drop by, I-I-I'll give you cookies...;A;
